Just some pictures.

SO I really hate pictures of myself.  I have decided though to document my weight loss through pictures.  This is going to be a very long journey.  The expected date for my goal weight is Jan 2014.  During this time I am going to try and re-train myself.  I am starting to look at food differently.

Rain, rain and more rain

I have been trying to take daily walks.  This week that has been next to impossible with all the dadgum rain we have been getting.  I have managed two walks and both of those ended up being rained during.  My Rheumatoid Arthritis hates it when I try and walk in the rain.  SO this week I have had a low weight loss.  Annoys me, because I was actually starting to enjoy the walks.  SHOCKING I know, but oh well.  The dogs and kids are all edgy, because they have been trapped in doors for the better part of a week.  Hopefully the rain lets up soon.

Food wise I have been doing okay with calorie intake.  Haven't been eating great, but have been keeping those calories down.  At least that is a plus.  I have not just had any binging days, despite wanting to a couple of times.  Here's an updated photo.  I really can't tell much difference.

Hard Times

It's Tuesday the 21st of February.  This past week has been so hard for me.  I have had more craving for junk food, than in the month before.  We were shopping in Big W the other day.  I swear all the junk food I saw I wanted.  I stuck to it for the most part.  I did indulge in a couple of cokes, but stayed under my calorie requirement for the days. Well all but one, and that day is because I lowered my Calorie intake number.  I decided to try and loose a pound a week, instead of half of one.  I am really proud of myself for trying to stick to my guns.

One month ago I decided I needed to get healthier.  It was after I reviewed some blood test results.  I find it difficult because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis.  That is because there are days when just getting up to go to the toilet is beyond painful.  It takes me anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours to get moving in the mornings.

I want to catalog my journey and it's ups and downs here.
